Project Description: The milk frother designed by Michele De Lucchi is both easy to handle and functional, combined with a gentle and reassuring geometry that will enhance your domestic landscape.
“The Pulcina was born ‘in the mountains,’ in the year that I drew only mountains.
The mountains are beautiful because they touch and penetrate the sky and the clouds.
The mountains are beautiful like in the contours of architects plans because they are made of layers like ‘lasagna.’ And each layer has a different shape.
They are called isobars and are lines that define the height above sea level.
Isobars lines are always closed.
The sea has only one isobar.
Mount Everest is the mountain with the most isobars.
Also we have a lot of isobars in our fingerprints.
The map of the world may sometimes seem it was stamped by a giant’s fingerprints and who knows if that is really not the case.” - Michele De Lucchi
